Registion Fee for 4-day Workshop (includes materials to build welding table) = $520.00

 

WORKSHOP DETAILS:

  • Attendees will hone their skills in welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, oxy-fuel, and plasma arc cutting in all positions.
  • Blueprint, design and fabrication skills will be stressed throughout the course.
  • Skills learned will enhance instructors ability to demonstrate proper welding techniques and problem solving skills to students.
  • Participants will be provided a blueprint, bill of materials and metal to complete a project that can be used in their home shop.

PRESENTERS:

Kyle Kopsa has been the instructor at NCK Tech College for 16 years. He has construction experience in tank fabrication/repair and is a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and Certified Welding Educator through the American Welding Society. He is accredited with robotics and NDT methods such as magnetic particle and ultrasonic testing. He is certified in numerous codes including AWS D1.1, AWS 17.1 and ASME.

Curtiss Anderson has been a welding instructor at NCK Tech College for 5 years. He has 10 years experience in production, custom fabrication, and pipe welding fields. He is a certified NCCER instructor for CORE and Welding LV1, LV2 curriculum. He is also an ASME certified 6G pipe welder on carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum
